As a small church, we have decided to focus our efforts and SERVE in 4 places. One way we SERVE is featuring each area as our "noisy" offering throughout the year. The extra change we collect during worship goes to SERVE in these ways.

St. Mark's Food Pantry

Trinity has served at St. Mark's Food Pantry for years. Several times a year, a group volunteers serve at the Friday Noon Meal, preparing food, serving it, and cleaning up. In the fall, Trinity does a neighborhood food drive in the Greenbush neighborhood surrounding the church, leaving bags on neighbors' doors and then returning to collect food. You are also always welcome to bring food donations to Trinity and drop them off in the box located outside the sanctuary.

Mujilla Falls Africa

Trinity supports the work of United Methodist missionary, Paul Farmer, in Zambia, Africa. The Mujilla Falls Agricultural Center teaches sustainable farming techniques to local people and helps to supply healthy food to the community. Each fall, Trinity hosts a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for Mujilla Falls.

Proud Theater

Proud Theater, an LGBTQ youth theater group meets in our building each Thursday. In order to provide a safe space for these young people, Trinity has committed to providing a youth lounge as a safe space between the end of school and the beginning of Proud Theater. We are always in need of adults who want to hang out with youth, people to provide snacks, and donations of games. Once a year Trinity tries to serve a meal to Proud Theater as a way to show that we love them. In March, Trinity helps host an Intergenerational Conference that helps to bridge the age differences in the LGBTQ community.

Racial Equity (Emerging Project)

Racial inequity is a huge problem in Madison with wide economic divides between people of various racial backgrounds. Trinity has identified a desire to work more deeply on bridging these divides and so is currently undergoing a process of learning, prayer, and discernment to identify a project that God is calling us to serve in.

Please contact the church office for more information about these or other ways to serve.
